Although the album came out back in December 6, 2012, I have to write a review of it and the album I’m talking about is Bruno Mar’s “Unorthodox Jukebox”. I have to say, this man is very underestimated. He is a genius.

When I first heard of him, he didn’t really catch my attention because he looked corny to me but I started hearing his songs on the radio and they caught my attention. His first album “Doo-Wops & Hooligans” was what made me love his music. He makes songs everyone can relate to.

In his latest album “Unorthodox Jukebox” he has a song called “When I Was Your Man” and let me tell you, you can feel his pain in that song. It’s one of my favorites because I had a situation like that with one of my exes. The song talks about things he should of done while he was with her that he didn’t and now he regrets it all. He closes off the song by singing “I hope he buys you flowers, I hope he holds your hand,
Give you all his hours when he has the chance,
take you to every party cause I remember how much you loved to dance,
do all the things I should have done when I was your man”.

That’s really deep because he has to face the fact that she’s with another man and he has to let go and just be happy for her. He knows he messed up and he hopes that he does all the things that he never did himself. I definitely recommend this album: Unorthodox Jukebox.
